We returned from husband and wife sunset pictures and the DJ announced their names. Taking a deep breath, they walked out the door and made their way to the dance floor. Walking hand in hand, their faces showed nothing but pure joy. They were together, they were married. Today was their day, and nothing else mattered. The first line of the song began to play, and the world around them stopped. Yvette and Angel looked into each other’s eyes, sang together, and twirled around the dance floor as if they were the only two people there. With the backdrop of the blooming vineyard and barrel room barn, it was a moment that was too perfect for words.

From the very beginning of the day, one thing that stood out to me the most was how incredible Yvette’s bridal party was. I walked into the getting ready location, into a house full of girls (13 bridesmaids, not including the bride!), and it was completely calm. For every single thing Yvette needed, the girls were ready to help. Whether it was earrings, or ironing the veil, or even helping me to find the shoes, they were always available at the drop of a hat!

Why is that worth mentioning? Because it says so much about the wonderful bride they were all there to celebrate and honor. The only way to have friends that are so willing to help, is by being the same way for them. Yvette is the sweetest and genuinely smiles at every person she comes in contact with. She smiled throughout the whole day, even when things got emotional.

And what an incredible day it was! Every detail was gorgeous, from the ceremony to the vineyard. It was beautifully planned out and so much fun to capture.

Yvette and Angel, thank you so much for the honor of being by your side on your big day. I loved every moment I got to capture for you. I love the way you love each other. I love the story of how you first met (and how you don’t actually remember it). I love how close you are to your friends and family, and how much fun you had with them on your wedding day. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
