Angela & Tuan | Big Bear Engagement Session
We walked up the hill to the beautiful, completely magical spot covered in trees and glowing in soft golden light. It was a moment frozen in time. I jumped up on my stool and began shooting. Sure enough, the sweetest, most genuine giggles pour out from both of them. I can’t help but smile even now as I remember how cute the moment was. Tuan turns to us and laughs, “She’s whispering to me, ‘I want sushi’!”
Angela and Tuan are people who live life to the fullest. They laugh hard, they love lots, and they enjoy every day together. Angela and Tuan have that sweet, quiet type of love. They’re kind, talk gently, and stick together through the ups and downs that come with years together.
What I love the most about them is the way that they enjoy experiences, together. They go to the mountains to go snowboarding (and Tuan can hang out in the snow in shorts!! I would be completely frozen), they travel, and they love eating together. They are so much fun and so incredibly sweet!
When Angela and I began planning for their engagement session, she wanted to choose somewhere special to them. Somewhere that meant a lot to them. A place that played a big role in their relationship. I was so excited when she asked if we could shoot in Big Bear! We met at the bottom of the hill and drove up together, and the scenery only became more and more beautiful. This place was an absolute dream to shoot at! Everything around looks incredible and glows in that crisp warm light.
Angela and Tuan, I loved working with you two. You braved the cold (Angela mainly – in a dress too!!) and you looked so good doing it! I am so thankful to have had the privilege of working with you in one of the prettiest places I’ve gotten to shoot. Congratulations again and here’s to many many more fun and exciting years together!
