Michelle & Randy | Corona Del Mar Engagement Session

Engagement Shoots

They met in the second grade.

That’s right – second grade! Michelle and Randy have known each other for more of their lives than they didn’t know each other. He asked her to be his girlfriend freshman year, and in January they’ll be celebrating their 12th anniversary together! I’m honestly still swooning over the story, it’s too sweet for words!

And also – they’re too sweet for words!

My typical Sunday looks like this: wake up at 6:30 AM to get ready for church. Get my hair done, diaper bag packed, boys dressed, breakfasts ready – and don’t forget the coffee! Out the door by 7:45 (when we’re lucky) and heading to church. Church goes til about 1:15 and then I leave for shoots (needing a little more coffee). I get there early to make sure I’m on time and have a parking space and can observe the location before my couples get there. This Sunday was no exception, especially the needing more coffee part!

I got to the location and found my parking space, and waited. Before I knew it, someone walked up to me with coffee and the cutest croissant I’ve ever seen! I looked up, and sure enough, Randy and Michelle brought me coffee and a treat! I was overwhelmed by their thoughtfulness and couldn’t wait to dig in! “We knew you liked coffee!” she said with a smile.

Thoughtful and kind are two great words to describe these two. They are sweet, detailed, and so in love. Their love story made all my hopeless romantic dreams come true and I can’t wait to share some of my favorites from their shoot with you below!

Michelle and Randy, it’s already been amazing getting to know you two. Spending the afternoon with you two and hearing your story was so much fun. I’m so honored that I get to capture the celebration of the best decision of your lives! It’s not every day you come across a love like yours – one that’s been through almost your whole lives together! I’m so excited for you two!
