The music began. All 5 seated guests stood, and turned around in anticipation to see their beautiful bride come down the aisle. As they rose, Cody took a deep breath. And then another. He had been waiting patiently for this moment, and it was finally here. Maggie floated down the aisle, arm in arm with her dad as she walked up to her best friend – the man of her dreams. Tears filled Cody’s eyes and in a moment they were together, about to be married.
Cody and Maggie are one of the special couples that just knew they belonged together. After only a few months of dating, they were engaged and making big life decisions with each other. One of the decisions they made was to celebrate their marriage together on the day of Cody’s parents’ 30 year wedding anniversary!
Another great decision they made was to work with Maria from By Your Side Events. Maria was incredible to work with throughout the whole planning process and especially for me on the wedding day! She organized everything so perfectly and every detail was thought out so well. On top of all o that, Maria is just the absolute sweetest person to work with! She cares so deeply for her clients and you can see it in everything she does!
A week or two before the wedding, I had found a florist on Instagram named Tularosa Flowers. I absolutely fell in love with her work and began following along! (Flowers are one of my FAVORITE parts of the wedding day!). When I received the wedding day timeline, I found out that she was flowering this elopement and I was SO excited to work with her too! And sure enough, her florals were just as excellently and beautifully done as I expected. Her use of color was PERFECTION – the color was bright and soft and altogether just so dreamy!
Maggie and Cody, thank you so much for the honor of being a part of your sweet day. Your trust for me throughout the process made the day a dream come true! And I am so happy you two made it to Hawaii! You deserve the sweetest honeymoon together, you two have hearts of gold. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have met you and celebrated such a special day together.
