What an adventure we had together at this session! There’s nothing quite like shooting during high tide at an Orange County beach in the summer time. Exciting, a little scary, and so much fun. I don’t know if I’ve laughed as much in a long time, as I did at this session. These two know how to enjoy life and enjoy each other. The giggles were so consistent throughout our whole time together, as was the laughter and joy.

Did I mention that we had so much fun? One thing I love about engagement sessions is the chance to really get to know my couples. We get to walk and talk, laugh and enjoy some time together without the stress of a timeline. You would think after shooting so many engagement sessions each year, it could get old but it doesn’t! Each session is a new adventure and a new chance to get to know a new couple!

Another thing I love about the engagement session is how comfortable my couples get. At the end of the session, I love hearing comments like, “That was actually really fun!” or “I really enjoyed that!” or even “That went by fast!” That’s the goal!! Being in front of the camera should be fun and my goal is help you feel like yourself, even when I’m following you around all day with a camera in hand!

Remi and Colby, I sure loved our time together! Thank you for trusting me and going out toward the rocks during a higher tide. Thank you for the genuine smiles and the never-ending laughs. Yours is a day I am so looking forward to! I am so excited to celebrate with you two! I know if we had this much fun at your engagement session, that day will be unforgettable!
