The song changed. The audience stood, and turned around. And for a moment, the whole world stopped spinning.

And as everyone turned to look at the stunning, sweet, and elegant bride, I turned with my camera to face the groom. Because his reaction said it all – the pure joy and excitement for the day. He was overwhelmed with emotion, seeing his beautiful bride walking down the aisle. The hope of the future together, the fun of the season they just experienced, and the peace of knowing it was all part of the plan.

This was a special day for Christian and Seleste and a really special day for Luke and I as we got to celebrate our friends on the most special day of their lives. Christian was actually in our bridal party 5 and a half years ago, and Luke and I were hiding in the bushes on the day he proposed to Seleste, to make sure to capture that exciting moment!

Needless to say, this was a wedding to truly remind me why I love weddings. Pure, sweet, beautiful. It was a day I could relive over and over again.

One of the sweetest moments was when Christian pulled out his guitar to sing a song he wrote to Seleste. And in true Christian fashion, it was very sweet, very genuine, and just a little bit silly. It was touching and sweet, the icing on the cake. They giggled and laughed together through their portraits, and soaked every moment in.

Christian and Seleste, what a special day to be a part of. I loved celebrating the purity of your relationship and how much you two love each other. I’m so excited for you as you begin this new journey of marriage together, I just know you’re going to love it! Thank you for the honor of standing with you, and capturing each special moment as it happened. I sure love you two!
